This 5,000-square-foot, three-level home sits just 50 steps from the beach and offers breathtaking rooftop views. Thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated, every detail has been carefully curated to ensure a comfortable, unforgettable stay.
As our personal family residence when not rented, the home reflects warmth, care, and a deep attention to detail. Ideally situated in Ocean Park, you're just minutes from all the attractions.
You’ll have the entire three-story home to yourself, featuring 5 spacious bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, a dining table that seats 12, and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen. Multiple seating areas and expansive decks on the 2nd, 3rd, and rooftop levels offer plenty of space to relax. Enjoy a private, year-round heated pool—a true luxury in Puerto Rico—plus an outdoor dining area and BBQ.
Comfortably accommodating 10 guests, the home can sleep up to 14 with additional bunk beds. Each large bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom, queen or king bed with memory foam mattresses, premium linens, and ample pillows. Bathrooms come with mirrors that feature built-in Bluetooth speakers. Every room has a 50" LED TV with Roku for Netflix, HBO, and live TV streaming. High-speed 2G fiber optic WiFi covers the entire house.
Climate control is top-notch with inverter A/C units throughout, plus a full-home backup generator and water cistern for uninterrupted comfort and peace of mind.
The modern interior boasts Italian-imported porcelain tiles, triple-pane soundproof windows for coolness and quiet, and solid teak cabinetry handmade for the kitchen and bathrooms. High-end European fixtures add a touch of elegance. The massive kitchen island is perfect for gathering, and the second-floor lounge includes a pool table for entertainment. Furniture is from Pottery Barn, West Elm, or custom-made.
Ocean Park’s prime location sits between Isla Verde and Condado/Old San Juan, offering quick access (5-15 minutes) to top attractions and dining, while providing a safe, gated, and quiet residential neighborhood with 24-hour rotating security. Uber is plentiful and affordable if you prefer not to rent a car, though there’s a driveway with an automatic gate if you do.
For your convenience, the home includes beach essentials like chairs, umbrellas, towels, and coolers. Fully furnished and well-equipped, just let me know if you need anything else to make your stay perfect.
Please note, the pool is heated to a comfortable 85–87°F to ensure maximum enjoyment while maintaining balanced water chemistry. The entire pool is heated uniformly, so the smaller sitting area cannot be heated separately, though it does feature soothing bubbles for added relaxation.

Summary: Peter's home is a delight to behold. Our three generational family of 13 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There are so many spaces to comfortably spend time in, both indoors, out by the pool or in the shade on the patio, on the rooftop seating spaces - it is all wonderfully arranged. We appreciated having the 6 full bathrooms. The two on the first floor were especially helpful for the bunk room occupant grandkids, ranging in age from 15-25 - there was a boy's restroom and a girl's. The other 5 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms were top knotch too. We all also enjoyed the very close proximity to the beach for sunset views, seaglass & shell hunting, and even a refreshing quick dip in the water. We've all agreed we'd love to return and stay here again!

Summary: The Lucky Penny was a great place to stay for our group. The house was secure and a comfortable space to relax in. Peter and Mariana are amazing hosts. The house has a very convenient door leading to outside of the gate that makes getting an uber easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Family vacation with 11 ages 6-72. Wonderful stay, spacious, comfortable, many areas to relax either together or apart as needed. Toaster oven, microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher, washer/dryer live savers! Perfect 1st floor set up with 5 cousins ages 6-14 staying in bunk bed room with close bathroom/shower. Pool floaties and changing colored pool lights a highlight for evening swim. boogie boards, coolers, starter bag of ice and drinks wonderful for beach days. Host and hostess extremely responsive and quickly helped with any questions/concerns. Memories made!!

Summary: The Lucky Penny is a great home for a large group. The home is spacious and has a lot to offer (boogie boards, beach chairs, kitchen basics etc). Peter was extremely communicative which proved helpful when the city unexpectedly cut the water to the neighborhood. Peter and his property manager were quick to rectify the situation which was much appreciated! One note about the property is that some of the outdoor furniture has seen better days as some had mold on the cushions. Overall we would recommend the property!

Summary: Peter and Mariana are fenomenal. The house is exceptional and has everything you can ask for and more. He even had concierge service, which we used and was great addition. We had several options that were walking distance and short drive from old San Juan. We will be,back!

Summary: Our entire group loved our stay in this beautiful home. It had everything you could need. Great dishes and pots and pans It was roomy enough for our group of 12 with plenty of room to spare. The beach was fun for the kids and boogie boards at the house came in handy for our kids (big and small). We loved the pool and hot tub. It was the perfect size for staying cool while visiting. It was crazy how cold the home got with the mini splits and how quickly it would cool off. he only downside was that our trip was too short. We would happily stay here again.

Summary: The house is better than advertised. Plenty of room for our group of 7 people. I believe you can host up to 12 people and not feel cramped. Location is great. The beach is maybe 100 feet, its that close. The house is in a gated community so the exterior gate allows you access without having to deal with the security gate. There is an exterior gate to an outside street which is outside the gated community. That exterior gate was very helpful to catch an Uber ride. Peter, the owner was very courteous and gives you lots of privacy. I highly recommend The Lucky Penny for your next vacation to Puerto Rico. You will not be disappointed!!

Summary: I planned a girls trip with 12 women! We had plenty of space…This property was amazing! Clean and luxurious!! The house is exactly what was advertised! The owner communicated with me the entire time!! We knew exactly what to expect! I would recommend using the local concierge service….. very reasonably priced and super accommodating! The concierge arranged for transportation to and from our private boat charter…which was a fantastic experience… I highly recommend!!
